Eminem, Foo Fighters, A Perfect Circle, Cee-Lo, The Cars, Marley and Nas, Ween, Big Audio Dynamite, Deftones, Death From Above 1979, Flogging Molly, Cage The Elephant, Cults, Rival Schools, and Kid Cudi. There are my 16 reasons for going. Heard Eminem puts on a killer show. And for that crowd, it will be insane. Foo's put on the best arena rock live show. Seen them a bunch. A Perfect Circle should be good. Never got to see them live, but wherever Maynard is involved, it's sure to be a spectacle. The Cars for nostalgia. But considering they haven't played in forever, pretty sure the live show is gonna be lame. Marley and Nas will be fun for sure, as would Cee-Lo. I love Ween, so that's a no brainer. Big Audio Dynamite? Why would you NOT want to see a band with a member of the legendary Clash before you can't see them anymore? They ain't gonna live forever! And their music was killer. Love the new Deftones record and they always know how to play to a crowd. Death From Above 1979 cuz in this day and age, you gotta have a two-man band on the bill to be hip. Flogging Molly and Cage the Elephant are both intense live. INTENSE. And good tunes. I have wanted to see Cults for a while now cuz I'm curious. And Rival Schools and Kid Cudi should be good...hopefully...lol!
Also, it's in Chicago. I get a little bit of everything and knowing me, I am going to discover some killer band on a smaller stage that will blow my mind. And we got a cheap hotel about 2-3 blocks from Grant park. Great food, great nightlife, and it's an event. And I am going with fun people and I know alot of fun people that I will see there. But hey, to each their own.

Re: Raccoons In The Attic: A Night At Ribbons Of Song Band Practice

Gorgeous. Yes there were some technical difficulites that were of no fault of the venue or the performers. (A guy spills a beer on the sound board). However Rockit King showed class and professionalism by waiting out the issues and STILL putting on an amazing show. Everything you mentioned about the issues are true, but give the guys in Rockit King some credit, that was a great show under less than idea conditions.

Re: Thanksgiving Eve with Rockit King, Rattle Candy, Remedy Blue and Failsafe

Whatever, everyone still did awesome. We only ask that we get copies of the media taken and that those who take the photos respect our artists rights to ask them to remove a photo because they don't like the way they look in it. In this day and age anything you do NOT want photographed or video recorded you need to make known in advance. We would expect that if we said "Please refrain from video recording the following song." that those in attendance would be willing to abide by that. Other than that its fair game.

Re: New Pornographers Show Cancelled For False Advertising

Once again I am sucked into your website, I have spent way to much time on here today but just wanted to leave a shout out that I was here, being entertained! I have to look at many many band web presences and It seems most legit bands have a website, a facebook, a static myspace that doesn't allow user posts, a twitter, a Youtube channel, some kind of store site (music sales page) and a blog all linked to each other. I highly recommend a twitter page for all bands that post frequent updates of where you are playing, what you are thinking, what you are eating! Anything that blasts your name across someone's phone several times a day isn't bad! Self promotion is what it is all about baby! Good criteria!

Re: Contributors

I have been meaning to tell you guys that this site is really really rocking, I am so impressed, I mean I expected to be impressed but it so blew away my expectations, you guys rock!

Re: Contributors

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

Re: Tokyo Morose: Pixie Pop

We stand humbly corrected Tim.
